‘Kid Sister’ is Back for More Chaos

Beloved local series Kid Sister is back with its second season, directed by 2016 Incubator alum Aidee Walker, with editing by board member Margot Francis and assistant editing by fellow member Shailesh Prajapati.

The semi-autobiographical comedy series from Simone Nathan follows 30-year-old Lulu as she attempts to find her own path while balancing her love for her Jewish family and culture. This season, Lulu continues to search for her purpose while grappling with life post-partum and having given her baby to her brother and sister-in-law. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Ollie, prepares to convert to Judaism.

Audiences praised the first season for its personality-driven narrative, following the loveable trainwreck Lulu as she chaotically stumbles through life. This season continues this storytelling style and brings back fan favourites in the ensemble, such as Amanda Billing as Lulu’s iconic mother, while adding some new faces to the mix.

Kid Sister is available to watch on TVNZ+ now!
