Receive royalties that may arise from your work here and overseas through the Australian Screen Directors Authorship Collecting Society. Joining ASDACS is free for DEGANZ Full members at www.asdacs.com.au

PROMOTION

We promote NZ directors, editors and assistant editors to incoming international productions.

TRAVEL ALLOWANCES

We can provide Full members with travel grants to attend DEGANZ workshops taking place outside your region.

Types of Membership

Membership of the Directors and Editors Guild of Aotearoa New Zealand is open to all who identify themselves as directors, editors and/or assistant editors working within New Zealand or holding New Zealand residency and/or citizenship, who aspire to work or continue working as such in film, television and screen content creation.

Membership Rules and Terms and Conditions

Full Member

All individuals who identify themselves as directors, editors and/or assistant editors.

Associate Member

All individuals that support the Guild’s aims and objectives and are FULL members of other screen industry guilds and/or associations.

Student Member

Open to FULL time students of NZ tertiary institutions.

Life Member

Life Membership is bestowed upon individuals who have shown a special commitment to the Guild. It is determined by a simple majority vote of the board following the process outlined in the Guild’s Constitution.

All members (except life members) are required to pay annual subscriptions, including members paying monthly, subject to the current policy of the National Executive.

Paying Your Annual Membership Monthly

Members paying monthly will be reminded of their annual renewal date as it approaches and may contact the Guild to change membership level or terminate at this time.
