Notice of Annual General Meeting
NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, CALL FOR REMITS AND INVITATION TO MEMBERS TO STAND FOR ELECTION |
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Directors & Editors Guild of NZ (DEGNZ) will be held 10:0AM to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, 29 October 2016 at The Long Room in the Short Room, 40 Vermont Street, Ponsonby, Auckland. The DEGNZ Constitution is available here on the DEGNZ website (Resources/Documents).
I hereby call for remits to be considered by the AGM. All remits must be signed by the Proposer and a Seconder who are full financial members of the Guild. Remits are to be received at the Guild office either by email to admin@deganz.co.nz, or to arrive at the DEGNZ office no later than 5pm on Friday 14 October 2016. This is in order for remits to be listed as items of business in the notice of the agenda, which must be sent to all members by Friday, 21 October 2016. There will be an election in conjunction with the AGM for the positions of President, Treasurer and National Executive Members of the DEGNZ Board. Please ensure your nomination is received at the DEGNZ office by 7 October 2016. This is in order for the membership to be advised of those standing for election by 14 October 2016.
