Another Feather in the Cap for ‘Tenor: My Name is Pati’

Congratulations to DEGANZ members director Rebecca Tansely and editor Thomas Gleeson, whose film Tenor: My Name is Pati won Best Documentary Feature at the Naples International Film Festival (NIFF), continuing its international awards streak!

NIFF is an annual independent film event presented by Artis–Naples. It showcases nearly 60 indie narratives, documentaries, and short films from filmmakers worldwide. The festival is popular for its red-carpet events and unique screenings accompanied by live performances by the Naples Philharmonic. 

This win follows two other major international accolades: The Grand Prix at the 63rd Golden Prague International Television Festival and the Portraits Audience Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival in October. The documentary is also a finalist in five categories at the 2026 New Zealand Screen Awards.
