The feature documentary follows Fiona Clark, one of Aotearoa’s most renowned and radical photographers as she reveals the stories behind her work. Fiona is celebrated for capturing portraits of the LGBTQIA+ community in the 1970s. Her work gave visibility and voices to the socially marginalised and challenged prejudices then commonplace in mainstream society.
Since premiering at the 2021 Whānau Mārama New Zealand International Film Festival, the film has screened at In the Shade Film Festival and Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival Toronto in 2022. It was also showcased at the 2020 Cannes Docs-in-Progress, where it received high praise.
